I just installed a new vdo tachometer and i think i need to do some adjustments. It's showing 400 rpm' while idling and I'm pretty sure it's wrong. What's the rpm on these cars while idling?

Thanks.

Hello,

is the tachometer for a 8-cylinder-engine?

Where did you connect it?

If you used the Trigger Output of the digifant ecu or the hall-unit... very bad idea. It will end up very, very expensive.

It must be connected to the Output Driver of the ignition coil, to the small green wire.

Thanks guys. Is connected to the small green wire and is for 4,6 or 8 cylinder. I setup for a 4 cylinder. But the instructions said that it has a potentiometer for adjustment.
