Hello everyone,

I am planning to build a 1776 using for my 1600i. I have read the specification on Manfreds 1804 chip but I do not want to lose the Hydraulic cam followers.

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the 1804 chip with a standard cam and hydraulic followers?

Yes ist possible. We use Manfreds chip 1805 in an 1825i with standart camshift, Compress ratio 1:9 and Hydros. Also I think his 1804 Chips works also with an 1776 i.

Are you using 32/35 mm valves?

Do you know the part number for the ACD camshaft?

I use Standart Heads with 33/30 vales
