Really apreciate your advice, for my 1600i to 1776cc.........Make a sense install a Mexican Vw Golf 1800cc telmic digifant (25 pines) and injectors?
Advantages?

no, thats makes no sense.
The maps of these ECUs are very different from the 1600i ones.
The Golf ECU use the temperature of the cooling water, the 1600i the cylinderhead temperature. These values are also complet different.
For ex. i show you some maps

First the org. 1600i injection map:


Second the injection map of a 1,8l Mexican Golf ECU


Third the ingniton map of the 1600i


And at least the ignition map of the Mex. Golf ECU


You see the differences ?
Even if it would work on an 1600i engine, you never would be satisfied.

Thank you Manfred; I can apreciate that, then is not better install stock 1600i digifant with 1800cc vw Golf injectors?

Is a good idea?...I can add cc´s only (1776cc), same CR, Cam, valves, etc.

or any recommendation?

temp sensor maybe is not a problem, if I installed a Golf temp sensor in the 1600i oil gallery work with similar readings....is a possibility?
