Hello,
Is anyone running one of these?
http://www.kerscher-tuning.de/kaefer/in ... gasanlagenI would like to know if you have noticed any difference?
More or less power
Quieter or louder
Any faults on the ECU with the oxygen sensor
Anything else that will make me decide to buy one or not.
Many thanks

Hi Neil,
Martin ( Red 1600i) runs one and knows the history of the Kerscher exhaust!
Martin, your part!

No, i have seen it in the reality, inside the Kerscher shop. But i have a HJS Catalysator modified by Kerscher... that's not the same!
This Kerscher katalysator is built by Kerscher, metal converter, complete 100% V2a stainless steel design. Looks like a real 1600i exhaust and also the same size, just different material and the better metal converter instead of the standard ceramic converter.
So if you have a "normal" 1600i 56PS model, then this Kerscher exhaust would be the best choice. For series 46PS and chipped 56PS engines.

I have it. No problems whatsoever. Very good qulaity. A bit louder than the original. Make sur to also buy the stainless steel exhaust pipe (collector pipe/header) to go with it. You can get it from the guy who runs this this website (not from Kerscher).

Many thanks for the replies.
I assume the oxygen sensor (Lamda) just fits the the Kerscher system without any problems too. Does anyone know if it comes with all the gaskets? Or do I have to buy a gasket set?
My 2003 1600i has been remapped and is now 56bhp. I want to be able to just fit it without any ECU errors.
I'm still thinking about one of these.

The stock O2 sensor fits nicely. No problems there. I bought a gasket set if I remember correctly. Wasn't expensive, though. You should also use new screws etc.
