I would like to order a turning chip 1804

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to order the 1804 chip for the ECU with VAG code 043 906 022 B. I have 4 questions
1. How much for the 1804 chip?
2. Could you please ship to Bangkok, Thailand? If yes, how much will it cost?
3. Which method you preferred to pay? Paypal? Credit card? Wire transfer by bank?
4. In your website gave information " The 1804 chip is only for the ECU with VAG code 043 906 022 B and "1600i" engines. It fits if only the piston and cylinders have been changed to 1776ccm, (improvement from about 34kW to 52kW) but also with a 276° x 107mm camshaft, inletvalve 35,5mm, outletvalve 32mm, compression 8,88:1 and no hydros (improvement from about 34kW to 58kW) ". So question are...
4.1 With the standard ACD engine, only pistons and cylinders I need to change to make it 1776cc( improvement from about 34kW to 52kW )?
4.2 How big of piston I should buy to make 1776cc?( Sorry I am not a technician but I should have information to tell my technician.)
4.3 If I would like to improvement from about 34kW to 58kW, I need also the change a 276° x 107mm camshaft, inletvalve 35,5mm, outletvalve 32mm, compression 8,88:1 and no hydros?
4.4 Could you please explain what is "no hydros"?

Hello Khongsak,

now i got time to answer you.
Its not as easy for me as it sometimes looks.

1) Are you or your technican able to set up the ignition timing with the ECU ?

THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO THIS !
For mounting bigger cylinders and pistons you would have to open the crankcase so the right position of the distributor will get lost.

2) To mount a new chip into your ECU i would need it in my hands. Do you have a possibility to ship this to Germany without influence of the German custom ? I.e. maybe a friend of travels to Germany or somewhere else within the EU and send it to me.
To handle the German custom will take me about 4-5 hours and to travel 70 km's.
In 2008 i had contact to Mr. SAROCH C from http://WWW.VOLKSPARE.NET . He knews a fligth captain which sometimes also travels to Germany. Maybe you get in contact with him.

3) If your technican isn't able to recalculate the size of the cylinders and piston from the volume of 1776ccm, then change your technican. I can't do support therefore for you in Thailand.
You would need 90,5 mm pistons and cylinders.

4) "No hydros" meen that you replace your hydraulic valves with firm ones. This will be not necessary if you only change the size of the cylinders and still use the org. camshaft with the built in hydraulic valves.

We will clear your other questions via mail when its time therefore.

And please, don't try to connect me via phone. It did this also in 2008 and it was absolut senseless. Either the line was horrible or my German-English was insufficient to understand Thai-English. While i'm writing or reading i'm able to use a translator, this isn't possible when i'm speaking. Sorry.

1. Do we change only the chip or we need to modify others thing in the ECU?
2. If only change the chip I can do it but if it need to modify others thing I will order a new ECU with the chip 1804 inside from you.

Don't hurry

Its not only done by changing the chip.
You had to unsolder the "old" chip, insert a socket and solder again.
Then you can insert the new chip into the socket.
What i do ist shown here:

That text is still in German but there are enough pictures.
I also do a complete test and check of the ECU before chipping and after it i drive it in my car and you will get a document that everything works fine.
So when you get it back its near to new.
